In a place this dry, the sprinklers keep everything alive. A good system waters evenly, stays inside the local rules, and doesn't run longer than it has to.
We install new systems, fix and update old ones, and handle the two jobs every Colorado system needs: spring startup and fall blowout. We also adjust heads, repair lines, and reset controllers so each zone matches what's planted in it.
Water left in the lines over winter freezes and cracks pipes, valves, and backflow preventers. A blowout before the first hard freeze costs a lot less than the repair.
If your system is dated, we can talk about matched nozzles, drip zones for the beds, and a smarter controller, and which of those is actually worth it on your yard.

What 20+ years here taught us
Get the blowout done before the first hard freeze. Around here that means by mid-October.
Denver Water asks for no more than three days a week and nothing between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Other metro cities are similar, so check yours.
We get about 14 to 15 inches of moisture a year. A well-zoned system shows up in both the plants and the water bill.
Common questions
- When should I schedule my sprinkler startup and blowout?
- Startup in mid-spring, once the hard freezes are done. Blowouts late September through mid-October. Both windows fill up, so call early.
- My system runs but some spots stay dry. Can you fix that?
- Usually. Dry spots come from tilted or clogged heads, mismatched nozzles, low pressure, or a bad zone layout. We'll find the cause instead of telling you to run it longer.
- Do I really need a blowout every fall?
- In Colorado, yes. A little water left in the lines is enough to crack a pipe, a valve, or the backflow preventer. It's cheap next to the spring repair.
