Lawn Care
A healthier lawn, built for Colorado's climate.
Colorado is hard on grass. Dry air, clay soil, big temperature swings. We work with that instead of against it.
The basics, done when they actually help: feeding while cool-season grass is growing, aeration to break up packed soil, overseeding to fill in thin spots.
We look at your grass, your soil, your sun, and your sprinklers before we build a plan, so you're not on a generic schedule. After 20+ years around Aurora and Denver, we'll tell you what your lawn needs and what it doesn't.
What's included

What 20+ years here taught us
Denver gets about 14 to 15 inches of moisture a year. Rain alone won't keep a lawn alive here, so the sprinklers have to be right.
Most lawns here are Kentucky bluegrass or tall fescue. They grow hardest in spring and fall, so that's when feeding and seeding do the most good.
September is the best window for aeration and overseeding. The soil is still warm and the summer heat is done.
Common questions
- How often should I water my lawn in the Denver area?
- Deep and infrequent beats a little every day. Denver Water asks for no more than three days a week and nothing between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Rules vary by city, so check yours.
- When should I aerate and overseed?
- September is usually best. Spring is a workable second choice. We'll look at your lawn during a free estimate and tell you which.
- Can you bring a struggling lawn back, or does it need to be replaced?
- Usually it can come back. Thin lawns often respond to aeration, overseeding, and a corrected watering schedule. If it's too far gone we'll say so, and we'll talk through sod or a low-water redesign.
