- How do estimates work?
- Estimates are free. Request one online or call 303-999-9022 and we'll usually come look at the property, so you get a real number instead of a guess over the phone.
- What areas do you serve?
- Aurora, Denver, and the surrounding metro. If you're close by but not sure, call 303-999-9022 and we'll tell you.
- How much do your services cost?
- It depends on the yard. Size, condition, and how much work it needs all change the number, so we don't quote sight unseen. Estimates are free, and you get the quote in writing before we start.
- Do you charge for an estimate?
- No. Free either way, one-time project or ongoing service, and there's no obligation after the visit.
- How often should I water my lawn?
- Deep and infrequent beats shallow and daily. Denver Water asks for no more than three days a week and nothing between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and most metro cities are similar. Check yours, and we can tune the schedule for your yard.
- When should I aerate and overseed my lawn?
- September. The soil is still warm, the summer stress is over, and the seed has time to root before winter. Spring is a workable second choice.
- When should I schedule my sprinkler startup?
- Mid-spring, once the hard freezes are done. We pressurize the system, check every zone, and adjust the heads so you start the season with everything working.
- When should I schedule my sprinkler blowout?
- Before the first hard freeze. Around here that means late September through mid-October. Blowout season fills up fast, so schedule early.
- Is xeriscape right for me?
- Good option if you've got lawn you never use, spots that are hard to keep watered, or you want a smaller water bill and less mowing. It's not all or nothing. Plenty of people convert part of the yard and keep grass where they use it.
- Are there rebates for replacing my lawn with xeriscape?
- A lot of Colorado utilities pay them, but the programs and amounts vary by city and change over time. Check with your water utility for current details, and we can point you the right way.
- Do you haul away debris and clippings?
- It varies by job. We'll tell you exactly what's included when we quote it, so there are no surprises.
- How far out do you book, and how do I get on the schedule?
- Depends on the season. Spring and fall are busiest, and sprinkler blowouts fill up fast. Call 303-999-9022 or request an estimate online as early as you can and we'll give you a real timeline.
